The New Brunswick Potato Conference and Trade Show will feature sessions on precision agriculture, diseases and economics, a Jan. 20 website post said. The conference is happening Feb. 2, 2023 at the AYR Motor Center in Woodstock, N.B.
Sessions include:
- Ahmad Al-Mallahi from Dalhousie University speaking on sensing technology
- Dave Bell speaking on spore catching
- Ryan Barrett with the Prince Edward Island Potato Board speaking on potato rotations
- Cedric MacLeod speaking on the New Brunswick Living Labs project
- Manphool Fageria from McCain will speak on regenerative agriculture practices at the Farm of the Future
- Ben Eborn will share a potato markets update
Aaron Goertzen from BMO Capital Markets will give the keynote presentation which is a Canadian economy outlook.
