Peak of the Market Announces Pamela Kolochuk as New CEO

Peak of the Market has found its new CEO, the market co-operative’s CFO Pamela Kolochuk has been promoted to the position, Peak of the Market says in a news release on July 13. She started as CEO on July 9, following the retirement of former CEO Larry Mcintosh.

“After an extensive and thorough search, we feel Pam has the essential skillset, vision, and drive that Peak of the Market requires to lead the company as our next CEO,” Peter Loewen, Peak of the Market board chair, says in the release. “Pam has a proven track record as a key strategic leader and advisor in numerous capacities.”

Kolochuk is a CGA, MBA, and Certified Change Leader with several years experience in senior financial leadership, the release notes. She was also born and raised on a dairy farm.

“I am very excited to be working in this new role and am very much looking forward to the challenges that come and moving Peak of the Market forward,” Kolochuk says in the release.

In the release Loewen also mentioned Peak of the Market has a strong executive management team with Tracy Shinners-Carnelley, Dave Whitmore and Mark Zachanowich.
