Potato Planting Starts in South Western Ontario

-

Growers in south western Ontario have started to plant the 2022 crop, an April 4 email update from Eugenia Banks says.

Potato planting started last week in the Leamington area at C. J. Bradley & Sons Potato Farm, Banks says. They have only planted a few acres so far.

Banks also checked in with a farmer in the Chatham area who says he plants to start planting on the afternoon of April 4.
