Managing soilborne diseases like black scurf and silver scurf is a critical part of potato production. Prior to the launch of AZteroid FC, potato growers were limited to applying their fungicides and fertilizers in separate applications, requiring extra equipment or multiple trips across the field. AZteroid FC allows growers to apply both fungicide and fertility in-furrow at planting simultaneously, simplifying their operations and ultimately saving time and money.
AZteroid FC, containing the market leading fungicide azoxystrobin, is the first nano-enabled pesticide registered for use in Canada.
