On Feb. 22 to 23, 2024 the International Potato Technology Expo will welcome thousands of attendees and exhibitors to the Eastlink Centre in Charlottetown, P.E.I., an Oct. 3 news release said. Attendees and exhibitors will cover a full spectrum of the industry – from seed, to soil, to growing, harvesting, and packaging.
The release noted the conference has been happening for over two decades with the biennial event remaining a keystone within the potato farming world.
“We really look forward to this unique event every couple of years,” Shawn Murphy, International Potato Technology Expo show manager, said in the release. “Visitors from across the country and beyond come together to share their latest discoveries and innovations.”
The 2024 edition will also include a two-day conference component, presented by the Prince Edward Island Department of Agriculture and the P.E.I. Potato Board, the release said. This conference will be offered on the mornings of both show days and will feature compelling and informative seminars from seasoned professionals. The seminar schedule will be released closer to the show dates.
Booth sales have been strong this year with more than 100 exhibitors already signed up, the release noted.
