PotatoEurope 2016 goes Sept. 14-15

PotatoEurope 2016,  an international event dedicated to potatoes that takes place each year in one of the event’s four partner countries (Germany, Belgium, France, the Netherlands), will be held in France this year., Sept. 14-15.

A large technical space will present the latest innovations: genetics resource and species innovation, disease prevention and protecting cultivations, managing water, fertilization, cross-breeding, storage and preserving tubers.

Each day, participants can watch material evolve in real production conditions: harvesting, storage, optical sorting, etc. A total of 24 hectares of demonstration are planned. The Commerce Village will host around 40 traders and cooperatives, with participants from all continents present.

The event will also include technical and economic conferences on current issues. And there will be 300 exhibitors from around the world onsite.

Over 10,000 visitors, including 3,000from 50 other countries are expected.
