In this video interview with BASF’s Nadine Anderson, Spud Smart editor Ashley Robinson talks with her about the Cimegra, which was named one of Spud Smart’s 10 most innovative products.

Cimegra is an in-furrow insecticide for potatoes that provides control of wireworms. It contains the active ingredient Broflanilide and offers in-season control of wireworms, along with the reduction of resident populations.

Unlike other products on the market that intoxicate and temporarily paralyze wireworms, it kills them. Cimegra binds to the wireworm’s central nervous system causing hyperactivity of nerves and muscles, ultimately eliminating the pest altogether.
